Accommodation Vysočina - “Tři Studně” Cottage

The cottage surrounded by beautiful and deep forests, is located in the heart of the Vysočina region, on the edge of the renowned Tři studně village, which is very popular with tourists.

Most of the time, you can access the cottage by car; in the winter, though, it is a 200m walk from the parking.

It is an ideal place for both relaxation and sporting activities: hiking, cycling, lakes for swimming and boating. Dogsled races are organized next to the Horník hotel several times over the winter season.

A special feature is the autumn mushroom-picking season: mushroom-pickers come in their multitudes even from far away. Despite their number, they all go home happy, as the offer of our magnificent forests untouched by civilization far exceeds the demand.

In the summer, you can seek refreshment either at the Medlov lake visible right from the cottage, or at the about 1km-distant Sykovec lake. Both lakes provide excellent bathing conditions.

In the winter season, you can do cross-country skiing as well as alpine skiing. Cross-country skiing tracks are maintained on an everyday basis, and you will find them only 200m from the cottage; information on their status is permanently available on  http://lyzovani.nmnm.cz/.

A ski slope with a cable lift is at 3km from the cottage. You can make sure there is enough snow and not too many people on  http://www.skisnowpark.cz/

Tři Studně: The village is located in the Vysočina region, former Žďár nad Sázavou district, and is part of the Novoměstsko micro-region. The nearby towns are Žďár nad Sázavou (8km) and Nové Město na Moravě (5 km). The road for accessing it is quite a steep one, as the village is set at about 723 m above sea level. This altitude makes our climate rather rough and cold – Tři Studně is a mountain village spread over 442.71 ha with 145 habitants as at 1st January, 2024.
